On October 25, over 75 members of the New Hampshire Harvard and Yale Clubs enjoyed an evening of entertainment and erudition at the newly-expanded Currier Museum in Manchester, in conjunction with the Club’s Annual Meeting.

Kyle Jones ’98, who serves as Club webmaster, email maven and all-round IT guru, is planning a delicious event from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM on Friday, January 23, 2009 at the Make & Take Gourmet Shop, 545 Hooksett Rd. in Manchester.  Club members and their families and guests will sample gourmet delights prepared by the Make & Take chefs, accompanied by wines specially chosen for the occasion by The Wine Studio of Manchester. The cost is only $17.50 per person.

At its November 14 meeting your Board decided to reprise the summer baseball outing at Fisher Cats Stadium in Manchester, which has been enjoyed by members and their families in recent years.  Cindy Rosenwald ’76 will once again coordinate this event. Further information will be available as soon as the date has been set, probably sometime in June. Watch this space and the Club website for the details!

At the Club’s October 25 Annual Meeting, Club members welcomed two new members to the Board: Dr. Carol Robey ’77, ‘82M, of Hollis and Dr. Gregory Soghikian ’82, of Bedford. Carol and Greg join the 13 incumbent Directors and officers who were re-elected at the meeting: President William A. Marino ’57; Vice President Rolf Goodwin ’78; Secretary-Treasurer Douglas R. Chamberlain ’73; Bernard L. Benn '68; Michael L. Bradley '90D; Mark W. Frattorola '90; Gerard J. Hevern '72,; Kyle Jones '98; Richard G. Kuhl '63B; Stanley E. Niebruegge '50; Ellen H. Reynolds '62; Cindy Rosenwald '76; and Wendy P. White '72. It is indeed comforting to know that henceforth competent medical help will always be at hand whenever the Board convenes! Club VP and S&S Chair Rolf Goodwin ’78 reports that he and his volunteers are gearing up for the task of interviewing New Hampshire’s candidates for the College Class of 2013.  Rolf notes that he has already received a number of candidates’ names, with interview assignments to begin shortly.
